At Starfish vILT, a boutique learning and development consultancy with the benefit of scale, we are committed to encouraging participants continuously to question, grow and learn.

Our ILT and  vILT curriculum reflects this commitment, as well as the diverse backgrounds and cultures of our facilitators, instructional designers, and coaches.

 

Starfish vILT provides practical instructional design and highly engaging and interactive face-to-face (ILT) sessions and virtual instructor-led training (vILT) programs. With an emphasis on real-time and applicable tools and skills, every program Starfish vILT designs is rooted in the day-to-day realities of the participants. 

 

In addition, Starfish vILT does not view ILT and vILT sessions as stand-alone events but rather as part of a blended learning journey including pre and post session activities, access to reinforcement microlearning, cohort connection through a curated, collaborate website (Digital Commons),  and group and individual coaching to help apply the learning to specific participant situations.

 

All live sessions are focussed on participant involvement through small breakout group work and facilitated plenary discussions.  The learning philosophy is one of discovery rather than didactic instruction, leading to implementation commitment and ongoing reinforcement of learning.

At Starfish vILT we think strategically about your company's values and brand, and connect them with training and development materials. We partner with your subject matter experts to help influence the training content and programs delivered to your leaders while ensuring adult learning principles are always incorporated. Our objective is to take on the responsibility for training and developing your managers and leaders to enhance their own levels of performance and leadership skills by deploying engaging, innovative, and excellent facilitation and presentation skills to deliver high-value corporate training and instructional design.

Liam has designed and delivered large-scale global development projects, and as an executive coach, helps individual leaders develop skills and implement techniques & tools to increase their productivity.
